Monterey County Engineer:
Ms. Lopez successfully secured $200,000 in Air District Grant funds for South County transit service. In February 2002, MST initiated the South County Transit Service to King City. Since initiation, ridership and productivity have continued to increase. Ms Lopez secured the funds necessary for a demonstration project that has proven this long-awaited bus service is a necessary and viable regional transit alternative. |

Senior Planner, Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG):
Mr. Munn is responsible for maintaining and updating the regional travel forecast model for the tri-county Monterey Bay region. The work performed by Mr. Munn has been invaluable in understanding the traffic flows through Monterey County. |

Mr. Serrano has secured funds for several important bike projects in Salinas. He helped organize the “Bike to the Rodeo” as a part of the Big Week activities as well as other projects in Salinas such as “Bike to School” and “Bike to Work”. |

David Silberberger
Caltrans Project Manager:
Mr. Silberberger has achieved high levels of success while serving as the project manager for the US 101 Prunedale area improvements, Airport Boulevard/ US 101 interchange improvements and Salinas Road Highway 1 Interchange in Monterey County. He was instrumental in the creation and oversight of the successful Citizen’s Advisory Group for the Salinas Road interchange project. |
