“TAMC SEEKS PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR THE MEASURE X SENIOR & DISABLED TRANSPORTATION GRANT PROGRAM”
October 3, 2022
MONTEREY COUNTY – The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) is seeking applications for the third round of grant awards for the “Measure X Senior & Disabled Transportation Program,” for fiscal years 2023/24 through 2025/26. In addition to seeking proposals, TAMC will host a grant workshop for prospective applicants virtually on October 12, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. PST
The senior and disabled grant program is part of Measure X’s regional safety, mobility and walkability program. It is intended to increase transportation services for seniors and persons with disabilities to support their ability to live independently in their homes and communities by funding non-profit transportation services that fill missing gaps in Monterey County’s transportation system.
The grant application deadline is at 12 pm, on Thursday, December 1, 2022. A list of draft program projects will be presented to Monterey-Salinas Transit’s Mobility Advisory Committee and the Measure X Citizens Oversight Committee in January and submitted to the TAMC Board of Directors for adoption on February 22, 2023.
