TAMC SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION AWARDS

The Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC) is accepting nominations for their “18th Annual Transportation Excellence Awards.” The award honors individuals, businesses, groups or programs and projects for their efforts to improve transportation in Monterey County.
Examples of potential awards include but are not limited to:
- Citizens or organizations that have made significant efforts to inform and educate the public about transportation issues.
- Innovative activities that promote more efficient use of the local transportation network.
- Success efforts to improve transit services and encourages the use of smart commute options to driving alone through the Go831 Smart Commute Program.
- Transportation professionals who excel at their jobs and go the extra mile to improve our transportation system.
The one-page nomination form is due by noon, December 4, 2020. It can be submitted online at http://www.tamcmonterey.org/programs/excelaward/index.html or

The award honorees will be honored during the regular January Transportation Agency Board meeting. That meeting will be at 9 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
